A national nesting story

A bird story making headlines now is the tale of an eagle pair snatching and raising a red-tail hawk baby as their own. The Los Angles Times has a great story about it with the infamous photo of the baby hawk arriving at the nest. Unusual bird stories make for great content for the national news as well as get the attention of non-birders.

Back here in the upper Mississippi region, the Raptor Resource web cam eaglet continues to thrive.
