Nesting birds endure a spring storm of high winds and rain or snow
The Iowan eagles had a good dousing of rain yesterday.
The Minnesotan female peregrine falcon laid a second egg in her nest box overnight in the storm.
And the Minnesotan bald eagle pair kept their recently hatched chick warm overnight during the snowstorm.
All is now calm in the Upper Mississippi Region.
Glad they all survived!
